I learned about Stonetree Custom Guitars from Eric"Roscoe" Ambel, amazing pro
guitarist/ producer in NYC. Eric plays Stonetree guitars and had a hand in helping
to design some of their models. Stonetree is a small builder in Idaho that is making
some amazing guitars and we are very happy to be working with them.
Scott Plattz builds these guitars with an attention to detail that is evident the
second you pick one up. They look amazing, the finish work is excellent, and they
feel great. All premium parts are used such as a Callahan bridge and Fralin
pickups.
The first model We received from Scott is the "Roscoecaster", an amazing "T"
style guitar with some very interesting differences. Roscoe came up to MCG to visit
and do a video for this guitar and it really explains how well thought out this guitar
is and how it differs from many other similar guitars on the market.
We are very impressed with Stonetree guitars and are very excited to share
them. These are very high quality guitars made by folks with a real passion for
